  • The east coast resort of Great Yarmouth is only 10 minutes drive away. Family fun and entertainment are on offer for everyone, including restaurants, bars and nightclubs. The Pleasure Beach is a must for white knuckle rides and family fun.  Well worth a visit are the greyhound stadium which also hosts banger racing meetings throughout the year.  Also Great Yarmouth Racecourse for the Summer flat racing season.




  • The lovely City of Norwich is 30 minutes away and as well as being the most complete medieval city in the UK, it has a flourishing arts, music and cultural scene, superb independent as well as High Street shopping, lively restaurants, bars and nightlife and a heritage that is a delight to explore.



    • Pretty coastal tourist towns include Mundesley, Cromer and Sheringham to the north and Caister a few miles southwards.
  • Be sure to visit Sheringham and take a trip on the North Norfolk Railway’s Poppy Line. It’s a steam train journey that is an unforgettable experience.
